This cache was adopted from Running with Loppers. Here is the original (edited) listing:
-----------------------
This area has springs and seeps, some of which make wet spots along the trail from the west. Snakes like water, so keep an eye out.
The big stream that can be heard 1 or 2 hundred feet east of the cache comes from Wagner Springs, a little ways up the gully above (very pretty, with the trail shaded by trees).
Parking is available on the north side of Sunnyside Ave across from the top end of the Hogle Zoo parking lot. This is the Bonneville Shoreline Trail entrance gate at N 40 45.054 W 111 48.693. Just inside the fence, the trail forks. Go right (east).
The first 1 or 2 hundred yards are a bit steep, but the rest is flat. Stay on the 'main' trail.
Lush green poison ivy lines the trail in the permanently wet areas close to the tank. It's not typically within reach from the trail, but watch any dogs and kids closely. Update 2016: I did see some at the edge of the trail.
Enjoy the short hike!
