Geocache Description:

We thought that historic Keystone could use a cache.
Nice little city park in Keystone, the entrance city to Mt. Rushmore.

You will need to bring a writing utensil to sign the log.

This cache is located in the heart of the Paha Sapa, which is Lakota for hills of black. The Black Hills are a sacred place for several American Indian tribes. Before 1872 there were no permanent residents of the black hills. The tribes that call them sacred only would visit the hills for ceremonial and hunting purposes. As you visit the area please take time to think of the American Indians and their history, but also think of your special reasons for visiting these sacred hills. Thanks!
