En klassisk arena i miniatyr. En kopia av Fenway Park i Boston.
Namnet är Arnöparken efter originalet. Det saknas dock
plats för 42000 åskådare. Men det gröna
monstret finns med.

Likt huvudpersonen i filmen "Field of Dreams" som spelas av Kevin
Costner handlar detta till största delen om en mans dröm,
en dröm om att bygga en basebollplan.
Peter heter eldsjälen bakom denna plats. Han brinner för
baseboll och han saknade verkligen den möjligheten i
Nyköping. Peter förhandlade enträget med kommunen
och fick till sist en äng med tillhörande skogsdunge till
förfogande. Arnö IF tog Peter i beskydd och efter mycket
svett och hårt arbete tillsammans med barn, ungdomar och
deras föräldrar stod planen klar.
Den första matchen spelades den 26/5-2004 i en turnering som
kom att kallas Intersportcupen. Intersportcupen har blivit en
årligt återkommande tävling med
riksintresse.
De första ungdomarna som växt upp på
Arnöparken behöver snart en fullstor plan och ryktet
går om att Peter kontaktat kommunen för nya
diskussioner, vart skall detta sluta......!
Detta är en jätteliten nanocache och det finns inte
plats för en penna i cachen så ta med en
egen.

Like the main character in "Field of Dreams" played by Kevin
Costner, this is about one mans dream of building a
baseballfield.
Peter is the man behind this ballpark. He really loves baseball and
missed the opportunity to teach baseball here in Nyköping.
After long discussions with the community he finally got a piece of
land, a meadow with a birch grove . The local sportsclub,Arnö
IF stood up for Peter and together with a lot of interested kids
and their parents they managed to get the field in order.
The first game took place in 26/5 - 2004 in a tournament called
Intersport Cupen. This cup is now played the last weekend of may
every year.
The first kids that grew up here are now ready for a bigger field,
and the rumour says that Peter is back at the community for new
negotiations . Where will this end.......
This is a really small nanocache and there is no room for a
