This is the long awaited second cache a series documenting
historic logging railroads of Wisconsin. Parking is located at N44
48.058 W89 48.530.
The waypoint containers made of 1 1/4 inch PVC pipe wraped in
camo tape. One end has a rubber cap that can be removed. Inside
there is a sheet giving some history on the location or the
railroad as well as the next coordinate. The final cache container
is a used 20mm cannon munitions canister.
The cache contains the standard log book additional history and
a disposable camera to photo your group with. There are also
various trade items such a a railroad toy set, mini railroad spikes
from the narrow gage railroad I volunteer at, a CD of railroad
music, a book on steam locomotive care and operation as well as
various railroad postcards and magnets.
This is a designated ATV area so you may do your hunting from
your bike, or on foot. Hunting is also allowed here, so dress
appropriatly when in season. The trails are closed to ATVs durring
the months of October, November and April.
I hope you enjoy this cache as much as I did researching and
hiding it.
