The container might be considered a micro but there is only room for a bison log sheet. Bring a pen.
This cache is placed as a humorous counterpoint to Tracker I's informational Predator Cache series; The Red Fox Cache; Gulp!,...It's a Bear in the Woods!!; The Raccoon Cache/ A.K.A. Lillian's Treasure's; The Bobcat Cache; and The Coyote Cache.
Several years ago Torus and I were hunting a very nice series by Special Ed in these woods. We had a great time! Our only regret was that the series was not longer.
When we found and logged the cache at this spot and upon Torus replacing it, the container was rejected and tossed onto the ground.
Torus thinking he had replaced the cache in an unstable manner replaced it again only to have it rejected.
Upon a more detailed inspection of the hidey hole a White-footed Mouse had other ideas about the front entrance to his abode obstructed. We found another good hole nearby and placed the cache there.
Keep a sharp eye out for this little critter and if spotted try to grab a photo if you can.
Be sure to visit the nearby 'The Prey Series: The White Squirrel' and be sure to bring your camera.
