There are several great caches in the Navarino Wildlife Area and around the Navarino Nature Center trails. But, there are still hidden gems of Navarino that are even farther off the beaten path.
This is such a spot. Among the many hunting parking lots and access trails you will encounter is a designated walking trail. There is no trail map, so the challenge to this trail will be staying on the trail, versus taking one of the many deer runs and critter paths that look just about as inviting. Nevertheless, it should be a relatively easy trail walk, and a straightforward cache find. This is a mid-sized ammo box, and the original contents are assorted trinkets for the kiddies.
Suggested parking is off Conservation Lane at 44 40.646 / 088 28.201.
NOT RECOMMENDED DURING GUN DEER SEASON!
