Falls of Auburn Traditional Cache
GeoSpaceCowboy: Checked on this cache today.. as it can be tricky to find in the winter as snow tends to be plowed into the cache site... but the cache is definitely missing and I do not intend on replacing it.

Cache is a 35 mm film canister with a mini-log, a mini-pencil. Please be discrete in your search be sure to replace the cache just as you found it.
Cache is located in a little known scenic overlook and picnic area in Auburn. Please take time to enjoy the view here. The stream is no longer known as the "Owasco Outlet" it is now the "Owasco River".
Cache is publicly accessible without entering any areas marked as off limits. Please do not enter any area marked for Authorized Personnel Only.
This site was once the location of the Auburn Manufacturing Company, who was a maker of farm implements. Across the river was once the location of Nye and Waite, who manufactured rugs. I wonder if it is the remnants of the Nye and Waite factory that is visible on the other side of the stream?
