I love the iPhone no doubt about it. However, not the most accurate gps device. For accuracy I use my Garmin GPSMap 60csx. But, in a pinch, the iphone works as long as the cache has a good description and hint...

We went on three hunts and found two of them. I think one got taken. The smallest I saw the accuracy was 56 feet and 156 in the woods. Either way it got us close.

On my first day of geocaching, I was able to turn up 3 caches. Accuracy varied at certain times, but that was mainly because I was in a 6 story parking garage for my first search. Overall, the 3G S works very well.

Needs some software updates before it becomes a great device, but it has potential.
