The best of them all

Can't beat just doing a geocache no matter where you are. I've stopped carrying my Garmin because this is just so handy. It can lose signal though deep out in the woods. But since I do geocaching with my kids, there isn't a lot of hard deep woods hikes.

The iPhone using the Geocaching App guides me right to the cache every time. It is very easy to use.

Sure, the iPhone does lots of other things, and some folks assume that means it doesn't do GPS as good as a dedicated device. To that I say "pish-posh". I've never experienced problems on my iPhone that wouldn't affect other devices (trees, clouds, etc.) Until you've tried the fantastic Groundspeak app, you won't believe me when I say, "You'll never need anything else." One concession: If you tend to do a ton of rural caching, and want to attach an external antenna, you might want to consider another device. But for everyone else, iPhone, baby!
