I too find that the compass is off, so I used my old school Garmin Goretrex 101 as my lat/long and get the coordinates from the iPhone Geocache app. It does make you work a bit more and you get a better sense of gratification. It's a start! Just waiting for my tax return to upgrade to a sweet Garmin!

Great device, but the battery dies quickly if you're in full on GEOCACHING mode!

Seems to have trouble getting an exact lock on where I am, I end up walking past a geocache several times because it points me in the wrong direction. Still it works fairly well.

Great with the GEOCACHING APP but the compass on it is a bit hasty.. perhaps because it's not 3GS? Either way, great with information, use and directions... still have to rely on my garmin to get pinpoint accuracy though.
