I NEVER leave home without my iPod Touch. And now that you can make calls from it with Skype, or do pretty much anything else with any of the thousands of apps available for it, it is the most versatile piece of electronics available right now. One of the best investments I've ever made.

Very good and accurate when connected to WiFi. Location only found if router has been submitted to skyhook. Geocaching app very handy to store information for offline use saving paper and allowing to keep graphics and layout. Handy but won't get you anywhere without an actual GPS

automatically saves detailed google maps of areas that you look at which makes it a good tool for lining youself up with local terrain in the wild. Only missing a true GPS marker

I use it for paperless geocaching. I bought the geocaching app for it.
