Fast to lock on. Great update rate. No battery powered by usb port.The Street Atlas Map software rocks and will run on laptops as well as netbooks. Yearly updates to maps. with lots of features.

Fast to LOCK on Satellites and stays locked on when traveling and in use with Street Atlas or TOPO USA 8.0. Signal dropout under trees almost never happens; it takes entering a tunnel to do this. Small, reliable and just plain works!
