Works pretty good for navigation and such. The bundled software takes some getting used to but works once configured properly. VERY fast satellite signal acquisition and voice commands. Bound to a laptop or other usb/Windows capable computer of course, but that's the only major drawback. Noticeable power consumption but what do you expect from something talking with satellites? Works well even indoors, can maintain sat link through short tunnels and underpasses, voice commands in software allow for handsfree map navigation and GPS commands. Also uses built-in voice synth to pronounce STREET NAMES and CITY/TOWN NAMES as well! Works quite well for the money, reccomend for navigation to the Geocache location. Accuracy could improve just a bit and the software could be less clunky but this definitely gets the job done.

Much faster than the LT-20. When I got this unit, my navigation software acquired a 3D fix in a few seconds. I am very happy with the accuracy.

Just a basic GPS mouse. Does what it's supposed to do. The bundled Street Atlas software is usable but does not really excite me. Routing so far has not impressed me.

We use this one in conjunction with our garmin. It is used with a laptop and navigation software to speed up the process for traveling from cache to cache, and keep us from getting lost... So much...

This unit works real well with the DeLorme mapping software on my laptop computer. I use the laptop to find a parking area near the cache, and then I switch to my Garmin E-trex Venture HC to walk to the cache. The Earthmate seems to be as sensitive as the Garmin under tree cover, but the Garmin is a lot easier to carry than the Earthmate and laotop.
