An excellent GPS especially for handling various map formats. Delorme has an extensive topo map file that is much more up to date than the 7.5 minute series and comes with the GPS unit. No need to buy anything else. Only drawback is the relatively slow screen refresh rate which is supposed to be much better with the PN-40.

Appreciate the ability to be able to download LOC Waypoint Files from the Geocaching web page for use by both the PN-20 and Topo USA as well as the ability to transfer other waypoints between this GPS unit and Topo USA.

This would easily rate a 5 if it were faster. I think the PN40 might rate a 5 based only on what I have read. I would love to try it.
