I had been extremely happy with my PN-40 until DeLorme and Geocaching.com agreed to disagree. Now, the Cache Register, which DeLorme sold separately and which was used to download large number of caches no longer works and DeLorme says they are not going to fix it. I have communicated with DeLorme but they remain adamant that they are "throwing out" the Cache Register. I have asked for a refund of the purchase price of my PN-40 but they say I have had it for more than 30 days...so no refund. Accordingly, I would not recommend the purchase of any DeLorme products for geocaching until and unless they provide a new Cache Register or similar program for the automated downloading of caches.
