It's got some issues! I like some things about it, but my Magellan Triton is MUCH easier to use.

Overall I'm happy with the unit. It did take awhile to learn the ins & outs of the PN-40 & and Topo software. The screen is a little small but certainly readable. Location accuracy is great, a big plus for geo-caching. My biggest 'con' would be short battery life. Be sure to take extra batteries along if you plan on being in the field for a whole day. DeLorme offers a re-chargeable lithium-ion battery option . . . a must!
