This is a great GPS. I take it backcountry skiing, caving, hiking, backpacking, and on general RAGER adventures. This is a fast, durable GPSr but it absolutely sucks if you're using it for driving directions. That said, I prefer a physical map anyway.

Software is a little difficult to master. If / when you do, it's a great GPS. I use it for geocaching, as well as motorcycle adventures. It is perfect for planning custom routes. You can not get anything better for the money, just plan on investing some time mastering it.
