With improved battery life over the PN-40, multiple file support, SPOT Communicator pairing, and activity profiles, the PN-60w is approaching the embodiment of my ideal GPS. About the only thing remaining for me would be a larger screen.

I spend 99% of my time "On & Off" Trails and "Thru Hiking" throughout Florida and the US. This GPS "RULES!" I do not cache alot where I need "Street Map" capabilities.

Solid GPS so far. It took me a day to figure it out and read through the manual so I could use it on a geocache mission with my kids. I need to figure out a way to attach a carabiner to it rather than a lanyard.

Have SE model with 16 Gb memory and 16 Gb SD card. Probably enough. Have lots of aerial shots as well as maps and topos. Started with Magellen's in 2001 and went through 3 but the colortrak was heavy. Little cheap garmin easy to carry but could not get signals. PN 40 opened up the door, and the PN60 W SE is of course best so far. Would have given it 5 stars but first one had to be returned as faulty software. Replacement appears to be flawless except for the learning curve in Netlink and syncronizing. Still unable to get it all together but close. On geocaching it is right on the money so far. I would urge anyone to buy one with or without the spot unit (has not arrived yet).
