I LOVE my Garminfone!
I used to use a G1 and it was always a phone that could do GPS. But the Garminfone is a full function GPS as well as a full function phone. I used to think I should buy a GPSr for caching, but after buying and returning several, I have realized the phone is more accurate and more convenient.
I use C:geo as my primary application. It's great to not need to plan things out, not need to constantly update the GPSr with pocket queries, etc.
Biggest downside is it relies on a data connection to access caches. But C:geo allows you to save caches to the phone for offline use... so if you are heading into an area with poor cell coverage, you will have to plan ahead.
