A lot of money for a poor GPS The thing is great in heavy woodland using the distance from cache feature but the compass can't even point North in the middle of an open field The waypoints look as if they have downloaded but when you get out to where you are caching Nothing has downloaded. This needs a feature to tell you that the machine has not downloaded, a message after you return frustrated that says that the machine will correct a software fault BUY ANOTHER GPS THIS ONE IS CRAP I STILL HAVE TO CARRY MY OLD ETREX LEGEND It is good for paperless caching when it works but after a year I am still not confident with it and doubt that I ever will be! Totally useless for Multi caches as the waypoint manager will only get you to 50 feet! Lasts about 15 hours on Lithium batteries£;1.50 each on AA Alkalines you only get 20-30 mins max, I have not tried it on rechargables yet. I Don't like the large screen I had to buy screen protecters from Ebay

Much too finicky for a high end GPS. I have far too much trouble getting it to work right on compass nd have to recalibrate OFTEN. Wish I could get turn by turn preview of directions when autorouting on a long trip instead of having them sneak up on me. HAve had the unit keep drifting awaty even long after I have stopped moving. I have used Garmin GPSs since my first Garmin GPS3+, Etrex Summit, Etrex Legend CX and a 60CS. My favorite is still the 60CS but I mostly use the Colorado.

It's ok, but could be improved.

I like the colorado but it could use some improvements. The compass is unreliable.
