Very user friendly. All touch screen for menus and options. Comes with the Geocaching option feature as well as your standard recreational/hiking/marine options as well. Screen is a decent size, in color, and well lit. I purchased the Dakota 10 Geocaching pack from Dick's Sporting Goods. For the entire kit, I got the topography software, USB cable, lanyard, protective rubber case, lanyard, and 2 geocaching coins. Looking at the unit alone on ebay and buy.com, I really didn't see a unit any cheaper than $260-270. I got the kit for $300 after the $50 mail in rebate. Garmin is real good about honoring their rebates too.
