Good little gadget but the 24hrs battery life claim is a laugh. Mine gobbles up batteries like they're going out of fashion.

If only it had room for maps and a memory card, and used 2 batteries instead of 4. However, it got us started in 2001, and has continued to work steadily ever since, with very few malfunctions. Reliable, with great accuracy. What a workhorse!

Good device, no maps and no projecting

It is quite some years old already, but has a good accuracy and works very well for us to find the caches. Don't expect any fancy stuff though. No maps or whatsoever, just the destination where you have to go. That makes it a real adventure !
