First off, I highly recommend this unit. l have owned a Magellan Triton 300 and a Delorme PN-40, so this isn't my first experience with GPS. Neither GPSr hold a candle to the GPSMAP 60Csx. This thing is a real 'machine'. It's very accurate, very quick to lock on to satellites, the screen is a very comfortable size and unit feels great in hand. It's not made for paperless geocaching, but I do have over 4,000 geocaches loaded onto it and TOPO maps for four states (micro SD card installed). Used in conjunction with my Samsung Galaxy S3, I can find caches on one of the most accurate handheld GPSr's on the market and I have all the cache information I need.

After 6 years the power button is destroyed. Replaced by external microswitch.
