It was the best option when I made the purchase. Works well in the woods with great reception. It's too bad the plastic casings squeak when squeezed and it could use a higher resolution screen. I can't stand the Garmin PC software but there's no better options out there really. At least you can easily drag multiple maps to the device enabling the ones you want to use on the fly. Works great with the 8gig micro SD card I dropped in.
