I use the Garmin 550 exclusively on my Kawasaki Nomad motorcycle. It is 100% waterproof, glove friendly, and I would be totally lost without. Current configuration is hard-wired for power and connected to my Starcom1 intercom. My Blackberry connects to the Zumo via Bluetooth, and works quite well. I also upload many Mp3 audio files and play them back through the intercom. Next will be adding the Aux. antenna and a subscription to XM radio. Only con is expensive map updates.

I bought this GPS device primarily to use it on my motorbike and for this it works excellent. For some weeks I also use it for tracking my running tracks. For this purpose it's a bit unhandy but it also works fine for this. Over all: I love it!

Zumo has been on many trips with out any problems. the battery life was better than I expected. Even better when you tone down the display brightness.
