It locks on fast, but the battery life is atrocious (more so than other smart phones). I'm getting a real GPSr and will use this for notes and such on the go, as well as logging finds (when I have network connectivity).

It's okay, other than having to pay premium to get 6000 caches a day... -_- For now I can only get 3 a day, big jump :/
