Used it for flying until I upgraded to a Bendix Aviator, the 500 gets me to the caches with little trouble.

My maps are a few years out of date but I use this mainly for a backup when flying. Works great when searching for coordinates. You do have to keep moving to keep an accurate track.

Used primarily for flying but it does quite well for geocaching too. Sometimes the screen can be a little difficult to see in bright sunlight.
