Well, I'm new to geocaching. I'm not sure how to rate this device based on others but it works well in the air. It's not super user friendly. Wife and I had 4 cache in GPS. The first was DNF and the second one we did. This is just a big scavenger hunt.

love it does what I want both in the air and on the ground. also records multiple tracks and routes. its also color

I bought this unit for backup when flying. Turns out its a darn nice geocaching unit too. The only drawback to it that I have found so far is entering coordinates, but I gues I can't complain since it was designed for aviation and not geocaching. I've had trips where it drops me within 2 feet of a cache. It's never put me more than 20 feet away from a cache (that we've found) , and on one of those occasions, we had another propular brand unit with us that was even farther off. All in all, I'm quite please with it.
