Good maps and very flashy, but accuracy a little short of much cheaper models like the Venture HC or comparable DeLorme models. Saving grace is that where it takes you further from some caches than other GPSrs, it is great at displaying paperless info. Again, there is a negative with this as well: No hints stored! Overall, I do not believe this GPS is worth the price, unless you intend to completely use its' mp3 capabilities. We won it in a drawing, or else we would've stuck with the eTrex.

I have had 4 or these units and would never purchase another one. You unplug it from a power source and it shuts off. If you manually enter coordinates it tells you you have arrived when you get within 35 feet and then stops navigating to the waypoint. Really sucks for multi caches. I do like the way you can download cache information. Other than that I take my Lowrance Expedition over this one every time.

Full review at http://darrenosborne.com/2010/04/20/lowrance-endura-sierra-review/ Summary The Endura Sierra is a very good unit. The size is right, it has all the bells and whistles you need for geocaching and makes logging finds easy. The lack of turn-by-turn as a standard feature is disappointing, particularly when there is such a great map already in the unit. Pros: * good size and grip * bright display and detail rich maps * excellent geocaching features Cons: * problems with touch screen display * issues with import and handling of GPX files * a little on the pricey side
