This was my first GPSr, which I got it in 1998 for boating and other outdoor activities. When I started Geocaching in 2002, it got even more use.
It takes 4 batteries and usually lasts close to 8 hours, so it can be expensive to operate. I run it off the cable whenever possible. Accuracy is pretty good, even without having WAAS, and it is reasonable at pulling in a signal under cover.
The main reason I "upgraded" to a Legend was to get mapping, but otherwise I still like the GlobalNav12.
