Takes some time to learn all of the navigation choices. Always have extra batteries!

I like the machine. I like the way trails are handled. The drawback was I didn't know how to download from here

Better than the Garmin E-trex I started with, but I still have trouble in the summer with Minnesota's extensive tree cover. The MP3 player is useless as you have to get Lowrance's special ear buds and I wear a hearing aid so cannot use buds. Someday someone will give GPS units a qwerty keyboard just like the better cell phones so entering the names you give caches will be easy to enter.

In the older lowerance lines this is a great unit. More accurate than the H2O. Same design and featuers. Great all around. One draw back is lighting. In certain conditions it is difficult to see the display.
