It is a great value for the money. The signal is strong and can be picked up indoors. There may be some bounce in the woods but I believe that it is better than most GPSrs. It has a great display. Good support from Lowrance. Very dependable. Negatives: Software not as compatible with geocaching.com then Garmin. You just need an extra step or two. Information is transfered to a SD card through a card reader. It will be interesting when the Lowrance Endura becomes available in May.

I like the portability of the SD card for multiple files while traveling. Also, being able to customize what information is on each screen is awesome. I also like that you can select many of the icons in GSAK to identify what type of cache it is.

This unit seems to be very reliable. It also works with my Lowtance 522GPI fish locator and uses the same SD disk. Good quality, durability!
