It's okay. This was given to me as a gift, once I mentioned to a friend I was using my iPhone as a GPS. I think the iPhone does just as good of a job as this unit, which always makes me wonder why I use this at all. This device has taught me alot about the menus and system operations of a "real" handheld GPS, and I plan to hand this down to my son (9yrs old) when I get a new one. (Garmin 60csx) As far as accuracy, this one has Parallel channels, WAAS and locks onto Satellites in under 1 min, and will get you within 3-4 meters. Has a bit of bounce, and slow to update as you walk to your waypoints are the only drawbacks. Battery life is excellent, 10-12hrs for normal alkaline for me.. but your mieage may vary.

This is a good value for the money, it is solid and reliable, but it is a little slow when it comes to updating the map feature. Overall, when you are on a budget it is great, but if you want the best, go elsewhere.

It's solid and reliable, but it's slow in updating maps. It's nice and small and a good value for the money.

worked really well before it just plain stopped locking on to sattelites, the repair would cost 90 bucks, basically the price of a new unit
