I would give my iFinder a high 4 rating. I have only been around a couple other units, so I don't have much to compare it to. The biggest advantage I have seen is it's accuracy on pinpointing a cache location. It generally puts me right on top of the cache! My son has a cheaper Cobra unit that we don't even use anymore because it just doesn't get you very close the the spot.
This unit is also much easier to enter waypoints into than the Cobra and a couple of Garmin etex units I have seen. The menu seems to be easier to navigate also.
About the only negative thing I can say is that there is not enough detail on the preloaded maps. Even my home town of about 4,500 people only has the two major highways shown. Some of the roads are a little off but not too bad.
This unit would be excellent for a boater, which I think is really its intended market, or even an aviator, as it is excellent at keeping you on course in a straitght line. It also has many nautical points of interest in it.
