Old trusty. I've had this one for over 6 years now. I've used it in a number of countries on three continents. (Military travel) For it's time, it was unbeatable in a hand-held. I've used it while hunting and fishing, on military operations, and more recently, while geocaching. With the optional antenna it will lock in on a position quickly and accurately; without it takes longer, but for it's day it was not unreasonable. The only complaint I ever had is that the menus tend to be a little cumbersome to navigate sometimes, and took some serious getting used to.
Now, comparing it to modern models, it is slow, it's battery drain is high, and the accuracy just isn't quite as good, especially in areas with heavy foliage. (I'm lucky if I get an error estimate under 10m)
However, It's my AMEX, I never leave home without it. I still take it on every outing, and I'll probably use it until it just quits working on me.
