This being my first gps unit I guess I have to say its ok. At times I wished it had the electronic compass but then I carry my digital watch compass and a standard magnetic compass along with a topo map, so all is well !

For the price I paid (<$100), I couldn't find anything close to a better deal. It had more routes and waypoints than any of the other brands. I've had no more trouble than anyone else with high dollar units when in heavy cover and fewer when in the open. It is just a greyscale display, but I didn't need color so it works for me. I don't use the music feature on it, but having the expandable SD memory is a huge benefit over some of the other lower end units. It's served me well on many hunting, fishing, and geocaching trips in the couple of years that I've had it. Money WELL spent!

Great Device for its price. Black and White screen very detailed, and processor is quick. Maps are easy to load and move with. Strong satellite reception, once it locks on it stays on pretty well, but annoying message screens when it loses reception. My first unit, and one I still use often.

MapCreate is no fun, battery life is about 3 hrs and no usb port. Other than that, it works and is user friendly

One of 4 units thta the baroness and I currently use. I killed a Garmin Geco in the bottom of the computer bag. My most recent purchase is a Mio PDA which needs a map program compatible with caching.
