This is a nice little GPS, considering it's over 10 years old. I just got it as a loaner as I'm using a Garmin Nuvi 650 which is better for car navigation than for crashing through the underbrush.
The Blazer 12 is pretty user friendly after you get used to it a bit. It has most of the features you'd want in a GPS as long as you're not after maps. The best part is the battery life and the fact that it runs on regular batteries so you can throw spares into your pack in case of problems along the way. Also, it appears to be more rugged than others I've seen.
The biggest issue that I see is that it doesn't have the last decimal place for the LAT/LON data entry, and it may not get you close enough to a cache to find the really well hidden ones. I'll report back when I have a bit more experience with it.
