Worked alright in the beginning, now it barely picks up 2 satellites. What a waste of money.

I have had this for a while. It is simple and reliable.

Very limited for Geocaching use.

This was the first GPS that I owned for finding geocaches. I was disappointed with the fact that it would only read reliably in UTM coords, although after getting used to them, I have found that UTM is more accurate than Lat/Lon. The GPS that I currently use is older than the Blazer 12 and yet is much more versatile. I have passed the Blazer 12 on to my daughter so she has something to point her the way when we go cache hunting. I found about 600 caches with it before I got a different (better) GPS, so I guess it works ok. Battery usage isn't too bad, but it can burn through rechargables pretty fast. All in all, it isn't bad for a starter GPS.....but I wouldn't pay more than $40 for one.

Not my favorite, but it gets me where I need to be!
