This device is outstanding, if you don't compare it to today's far more capable devices. It isn't a mapping GPS, so that limits it. It provides basic GPS functions with a variety of screens and options. If you have a computer with a serial port (not many these days) you can connect it and download/upload routes, points, etc. Battery life is a big plus. My biggest beef is it's to damn big! Old technology, but still works!

I'm not terribly content with this particular device because it never seems to be very accurate. Therefore I have to rely more heavily on the clues that the caches provide once I am somewhat in the vicinity of the cache.

No maps, but this has been a tried and true friend for years. Durable, accurate, great for seeing where you go and how to get back.

This worked well 10 years ago, and it still works.

I own an engineering prototype. Crude, coarse color display. Slow to acquire, not particularly sensitive. Useful, but not impressive.
