Pros:
- Takes standard AA cells
- Has basic Geocaching functionality (gpx support, hint decription)
- Works well with GSAK
- Responsive and Accurate
- Provides advanced features such as projection
Cons:
- Screen Contrast is fairly low
- Manual input of new items is troublesome, computer desired
- The connector on the back of the device is impractical, certainly not plug and play. A tiny screw needs to be vastend while the connector is held in place.
- Mapping software is old, inaccurate and impractical
- Magellan web send plugin does not support this device
Overall:
It has been my trusty companion for the past 60 Geocaches and has yet to fail me. Running on AA batteries is a great feature, simple replacement in the field. It'll get you from A to B.
