My unit is way off when conpaired to other units as far as distance hiked, About a 3 mile differance in a 15 mile hike. When used to cache in the goto mode it is spot on.Takes time to put cache location into geocache manager the upload to unit. Can't beat the price

I gave this unit a 5 star rating because of the entry level price and the great geocaching features for its time (it is a few years old now). It is a very basic, but very good in my opinion. That being said, there are some really NICE units out there that I would LOVE to have…

Does everything that I would want it to do for Geocaching and hiking which is all that it is meant for... has really bad map so it can't be depended on for roads.

Had it for a few years... good device. had to take it apart to clean the contacts under a few buttons that weren't working, easy fix.

Not a bad GPS, but it is majorly outdated. Also, the accuracy isn't great, and the closest you can usually get is within 7-9 meters. It may just be my location that affects the accuracy (Southern B.C., and rather mountainous.) I also dont find the interface that easy, and it has problems communicating with my computer.
