I've had this GPS for a little less than a week and I thought I'd post my first impressions. I'm replacing my 8 yr old Magellan Map 330 with this eXplorist 310. I find the learning curve a bit steeper than the old unit but easy enough. The eXplorist 310 seems accruate enough. I stood over a cashe and it read 3 feet. I'm not happy with the screen. It scratches too easy. I carried it in a shirt pocket with the screen facing a plastic button and the screen was scratched. I like being able to load and search Geochaches with descriptions, logs and hints. I would recommend it to a friend.

Screen is kind of small for older eyes.
