Jan 2012: I have had this GPSr since they were first sold. I used it as my primary hand held for several years. It was one of the first "paperless" units, with basic cache info. It had many advance features at introduction such as its file system, geocache and regular waypoints, internal charged battery, USB access to internal and SD card. Extremely accurate in position and elevation, it keeps the best tracks of any GPSr I have tried. Through 6 years of use, it still works well, but I have worn out the buttons, and am buying another eXplorist for parts which are easily changed.
