Overall, a nice, functional unit, that was a replacement for my Magellan SproTrak Pro. This model has the rechargable battery, compared with the other model that uses standard batteries.
Pros: Lightweight, reasonably accurate and mostly user friendly. The addition of an SD card slot greatly enhances space for detail maps. Reception outside is fairly sensitive, and inside is quite good as well. Now that Magellan considers this a "legacy product," the price has dropped considerably and one should be able to find this at a great price on some place like eBay.
Cons: Being a "legacy product," support from Magellan will become scarce. Geocaches must first be managed by a third party software, such as GSAK before being loaded onto the unit. Processing time is a bit slow due to the file system. Battery life can become an issue since the backlight is always on.
This will make a great "backup" GPSr for those using a newer model.
