Having just switched from my old Garmin, it took me a few days caching to get this one honed in to my liking. Hated it the first day, was okay with it the second. Now I'm starting to enjoy it. Biggest drawback is, as other have mentioned, the interface and menus are not exactly intuitive. It took me several attempts to find the correct menu in a sub menu to let me set it up the way I wanted. Once done, it's great. The only reason I upgraded to this unit was the amount of caches it could hold. Recently switched jobs that has me traveling all over the state, and I kept moving out of my cache field. With the 510 I can load up the whole western half of the state and I'm ready to go. Did. I mention paperless caching? I was used to carrying the iPad, loaded with Geo Bucket, so I'd have descriptions with me. Don't need to anymore.
The only reasons for not going 5 stars are the funky interface and the fact that it does occasionally lock up, requiring me to pull the batteries.
