Vom Erwerb dieses Gerätes kann ich nur abraten! Während des Zeitraumes September 2011 bis Januar 2013 gab es lediglich EIN Software-Update. Nach dem Aufspielen desselben stellten verschiedene Features des GPS nach und nach ihre Funktion ein. Trackaufzeichnung, Träckspeicherung, Tracklöschung, Bildergalerie - nichts davon funktioniert mehr. Der Stromverbrauch ist exorbitant. Kein Wunder, bei der Wärmeentwicklung des Gerätes. 2850 mAh-Akkus sind in kurzer Zeit leergesaugt. Für den Preis dieses Apparates bekommt man von anderen Herstellern ein "richtiges" GPS!

A complicated device but slowly getting there. Power consumption not as severe a problem once I fully adjusted the settings. Lithiums are the best power source so put them on your birthday/Christmas wishlist. I still have doubts about the usefulness of the smart arrow especially in bushland settings. Find I have to turn around in a full circle to get it to go green & this not always possible. Tried the compass but too complicated. The cache capacity & routing very good. The mic only works when air completely still so this a big disappointment, esp. when waymarking. Like its size & feel, clarity of screen & intuitive menu.

Great tool , only thing that would make it better is if it was a touch screen
