Pretty decent unit, but I'm coming from an iPaq PDA running BeeLine GPS with a bluetooth GPS receiver. That was a rather clunky solution. By contrast, the eXplorist has roadmaps, caches with detailed information, and a rather easy to use interface. The manual doesn't go into much detail beyond the initial screens, so you are left figuring some things out for yourself. However one afternoon out and you'll be caching like a pro. I'd love a touchscreen, but don't expect one for $199. Yet.
This is a great paperless caching solution.
