I purchased this in 1999 or 2000. It still works great. rudimentary screen and map detail compared to newer units, of course. But depending on your needs, It can be quite handy.

Oh by the way! (VERY IMPORTANT) Don't let your teenage male child spank the Monkey with this. As with all radio epuipment, these produce a lot of radiation near the antenna. Mental issues that are very subtle at first, but often lead to OCD and compulsive sudden desire to self-flagellate, are reported to have been found by reletives.
