Highly reliable and accurate. No bells and whistles, no colour screen, but it far outlasts anything produced now days, especially when it comes to battery life. This will always be my backup unit. Never misses a beat. Those that rate this low are probably just kids that have no clue about navigation and just want all the flashy bells and whistles that really achieves nothing in the way of usability. Connectivity can be a problem if you don't have the Data or Data + Antenna packs, but with them and an RS232 to USB adaptor away it goes. Beware, this is not a kiddie toy.

Definitely an OLD model. Still trying to get the hang of it. Gave it to my son so he could figure it out.

My first GPS. Does not have all the bells and whistles of new ones, but has worked well for me.
