After some initial problems with this unit and several trips back to the factory it now seems to work fine . very easy to use and accurate. I am still in that learning curve but things appear to be ok for now.

Only real complaint is that a PC is needed to load caches and that multiple databases of caches/waypoints cannot be maintained.

While the unit its self is well built, magellan still is working on the operating system causing random hiccups every so often when an update happens. I look forward to the time when they finally work out all the kinks, when they do this will be a most impressive unit. Highs: Fast satilight lock, large color display, rugged, allows 1000 caches to be placed on unit with cache discriptions onboard. Lows: Clunky import interface (Vantage point), Low battery operating time. random glitches that come with upgrades. Slow gui (processor related?) Overall a great unit. P.S. I hate how you can't just go up and edit the comment message without the cursor immidiatly returning to the bottom.
