Haven't taken a lot of time to play with it, but I love it!

This unit has always led me to within a few feet of the cache. I have used it in Kentucky, West Virginia, Virginia, Nevada, New Mexico, Montana, Wyoming, Tennessee, Alabama, Florida, Pennsylvania and several other states, with zero problems.

The accuracy is usually right on.

Magellan seems to still be working on making the firmware usable. Something as simple as alphanumeric entry is a real pain. To select and go to a waypoint takes way too many clicks. I definitely would not recommend this as a geocaching GPS. Downloading waypoints can only be done through Magellan's proprietary software VantagePoint, and progress is very slow. On the positive side, the ability to download detailed NatGeo Topo! maps is great. The Triton 300 however does not have enough built-in memory to be able to load a large area. You can't add a memory card either to this low-end unit in the Triton line. Continuing with the positives, I find the GPS engine to be very sensitive and accurate. I mainly use this GPS as a backup unit when I can't find a cache using my Garmin.
